Step 1: Download the app:
First of all, download a security camera app in your old phone. You will find many apps on Google Play Store which are made for CCTV.
We have used Alfred DIY CCTV Home Camera app. It has also been downloaded more than 5 lakh times. It also has a rating of 4.3.
You have to download this app on both the devices i.e. old and new.
Enter your details on the phone you use everyday and tap on Start. Then tap on Viewer and select Next.
Now you have to sign in here. After this you will be given some options in which you can choose any method for signing in.
Now repeat the same process on the old phone that you want to make CCTV. Just in this you have to tap on Camera instead of Viewer. Keep in mind that this phone also sign in through the previous Google account
Just after that you can go to the settings to turn on the motion sensor, audio recording. You can also send a notification if you see something different.
Second Step:
After doing the above, you have to make sure at which location you want to put the phone camera. You have to put it in a place from where you can get the full view. Keep it on a shelf or some high place. Also, keep in mind that there is a strong Wi-Fi connection with this phone.
Third Step:
Now you have to mount your device and power it on. You will get the phone mound easily from anywhere. To power your device, make sure that the phone you have has a long wire. You can only power the device using the power cable. If you don’t have a phone with a removable battery, you’ll need to switch off the device and turn the device off.
